![]() Wu Musheng | Defending the Nation and Upholding the Law 1930-2013 Wu Musheng, the second son of Wu Tianyou and the fourth-generation successor of Gu Lun Fist, demonstrated exceptional martial talent from a young age. He systematically mastered the essence of Gu Lun Fist, ensuring the continuation of his family's martial heritage. In 1950, Wu Musheng joined the Korean War (War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea) as a platoon leader, making significant contributions to the nation's efforts. His bravery and skill earned him numerous military accolades. After the war, the North Korean authorities, impressed by Wu Musheng's mastery of Gu Lun Fist, offered him generous terms to stay and settle in North Korea. However, Wu Musheng, committed to his responsibility of passing on the Gu Lun Fist tradition, declined the invitation and returned to his home in Baiyugou, Yanshi, to continue learning advanced techniques from Wu Youde. Wu Musheng dedicated himself to deepening his understanding of Gu Lun Fist, never marrying or having children. Instead, he focused on transmitting his knowledge to the next generation. In his later years, he took in Wu Nanfang, the son of his younger brother Wu Gensheng, as his disciple and heir. Wu Musheng meticulously trained Wu Nanfang, ensuring the preservation and continuation of the Gu Lun Fist lineage. Wu Musheng's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to martial arts and his country's service. His legacy is carried on through Wu Nanfang and the enduring practice of Gu Lun Fist. |
